  1. Animal Shelter PACK Foster Training

    June 12, 2019, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM @ Everett Animal Shelter

PACK = Puppies/AdultCats/Kittens, what more can we say – they’re adorable, and they need fostering for a variety of reasons: age/weight/socialization; illness or injury recovery; mamas and babies, and the list goes on. This is a no obligation training, just come and learn about our PACK Foster program to see if it’s right for you. It’s a great way for kids, who are too young to volunteer in the shelter, to start learning about animal care and behavior. A lot of times we send puppies and kittens into foster care for socialization – the youth are great for helping with socialization! There is no paperwork to complete ahead of time; just show up. We look forward to seeing you and having you join our team!

It is recommended to complete FEMA Independent Study course IS-200, but it is not required. Contact Rachael Doniger, OEM Public Education Coordinator, for further details.
