  2. XPRIZE Journey, the AutoCognita Story

    February 7, 2019, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM @ TheLab@everett

Hear the inspiring firsthand account of Dana Rozier's experience working with an international team to participate in the groundbreaking XPRIZE Challenge. Her experience led her to co-found AutoCognita and ultimately resulted in her team becoming one of three semi-finalists in the world changing XPRIZE competition. Her team is presently awaiting notification of the winner of the multi-million dollar XPRIZE. Dana and her team took on the challenge to improve the literacy proficiency of adults. The result was AutoCognita, an app to do exactly that. The AutoCognita mission is to make universal literacy a reality for the nearly 1 billion people on the planet who can't read, write, or do simple math. They created their app to help low-literate adults improve their lives by gaining basic skills in reading and numeracy.
