  1. Holiday Trees for Salmon & Maker’s Bazaar at the NW Stream Center!

    The holiday season is fast approaching! To help the coming celebrations, the Adopt A Stream Foundation is selling “Live & Wild” Holiday Trees for Salmon at the Northwest Stream Center 10 am to 4 pm, beginning Saturday December 7th through December 24th. December 7th, 2019 will be our kick-off day where we will be hosting a Maker’s Bazaar at the Northwest Stream Center! This is going to be a free event where local crafters and artisans will be selling their uniquely hand-crafted treasures! You will have the opportunity to enjoy our nature trail that winds through 32 acres of beautiful forest and wetland habitat, peruse our selection of holiday trees, partake in arts and crafts, sip on a cup of cocoa, take a picture with Sammy the Salmon, and feel the holiday cheer!   2. Santa Paws Pet-Friendly Photos

    Has your pet been naughty or nice this year? Either way we're sure meeting Santa is on their holiday wish list! Join us on December 7th and 8th for pet-friendly, family photos with Santa and help ensure the animals in our care have a warm and bright holiday season. Holiday costumes for your pets will be available and for $25 you'll receive an emailed set of digital photos and entry into a holiday drawing. All proceeds benefit Everett Animals Shelter's homeless cats, dogs and critters.   1. Seattle Mandolin Orchestra

    Come enjoy live music at the library! A full orchestra featuring more than 20 players will present a vast library of music from more than 50 years of playing together. If you think you know mandolin music, think again! The non-profit orchestra has been in existence since 1968 and is dedicated topreserving, promoting and extending the Mandolin ensemble tradition, originally popularized early in the last century. They showcase the entire mandolin family of instruments, including mandolins, mandolas, mandocellos and mandobass. Their repertoire encompasses many styles, including historical mandolin styles throughout time, Italian, Latin, music from other traditions around the world, Classical, holiday themes, music from movies and more. Seattle Mandolin Orchestra: Music with a Lot of Pluck!
