“How to Save the Bees” with Demarus Tevuk Sandlin
Join us on Thursday June 20th, 2019 at 7PM at the Northwest Stream Center in Snohomish County’s McCollum Park for a wonderful presentation by local environmental educator, Demarus Tevuk Sandlin. She will teach us about our local native bees, how they live, and what they need to thrive. You’ll be introduced to bee diversity, be shown how pollination effectiveness needs bee diversity, learn information about lifecycle and where bees live, along with useful land management tips. You’ll go home with practical knowledge for what you can do in your own backyard, farm, or orchard to help bees and other vital pollinators. There will be plenty of time for Q&A and discussion.
The Northwest Stream Center is located at the south end of Snohomish County's McCollum Park, 600 128th Street SE, Everett WA 98208. Call 425-316-8592 to reserve your spot; $5 Adopt A Stream Foundation Members, $7 general admission.
