Park shelter at Thornton A. Sullivan Park damaged by fire

Camp Patterson shelter burned

EVERETT – Parks crews discovered Wednesday morning that a park shelter at Camp Patterson, located in Thornton A. Sullivan Park at Silver Lake, was heavily damaged by a fire overnight. The shelter is unusable and has been closed until further notice.

This incident should not disrupt any previously scheduled events. Parks staff is currently in contact and working with renters to provide alternate locations in neighboring shelters at Camp Patterson.
