EVERETT – The City of Everett is accepting Hotel Motel Tax Fund applications until 5 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1, from public and non-profit agencies for projects that assist in tourism development and promotion.
The grant program is made possible through taxes imposed on hotel and motel room rentals in the City of Everett. Grants funds will be awarded on a competitive basis to eligible applicants who can demonstrate ability to complete projects by Dec. 31, 2017. Details of the program are included in the application package.
Applications are available by contacting the Everett City Council offices, 2930 Wetmore Ave. Suite 9A in downtown Everett, or online through the City of Everett’s website. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1, the City of Everett Clerk’s Office located on the first floor of the Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore Ave.
