Volunteer for a flowery cause during Everett’s “Viva Color!”

Viva Color

EVERETT – Dig in and bring flowers to Everett’s streets at two annual volunteer planting events. Join neighbors of all ages in digging, planting and pitching in during Viva Color! Dress for the weather. The city provides gloves, trowels, safety vests, refreshments and souvenir buttons.

Downtown Planting

Friday, May 18, 2018, 8:30-10 a.m.

Help plant hundreds of flowers and greens in the decorative pots dotting downtown Everett’s streets. Meet at the corner of Hewitt and Colby avenues.

Mukilteo Blvd. Planting

Saturday, June 2, 2018, 9-11 a.m.

Create carpets of colorful blooms in planting beds along Mukilteo Boulevard. Meet at Forest Park. Catch a free shuttle at the Olympic Business Plaza parking lot at the intersection of Mukilteo and Olympic boulevards starting at 8:45 a.m.
