EVERETT – The City of Everett is conducting a public process for the evaluation of council districts with the possibility of putting forward a council districting measure in the November 2018 general election.
The City held four community meetings in April to provide a chance for residents to learn about City Council representation and election by district, and to discuss these topics with other community members.
Residents are encouraged to educate themselves about council districting and provide public input by completing a survey before May 31. Results of the survey will help inform the City Council about the public’s views.
Educational information and a link to the survey can be found at www.everettwa.gov/districting. The survey is available in English and Spanish. For assistance on other translations of the survey, please contact Wendy McClure and allow 72 hours for a translated survey: firstname.lastname@example.org.
