Come enjoy live music at the library! A full orchestra featuring more than 20 players will present a vast library of music from more than 50 years of playing together. If you think you know mandolin music, think again! The non-profit orchestra has been in existence since 1968 and is dedicated topreserving, promoting and extending the Mandolin ensemble tradition, originally popularized early in the last century. They showcase the entire mandolin family of instruments, including mandolins, mandolas, mandocellos and mandobass. Their repertoire encompasses many styles, including historical mandolin styles throughout time, Italian, Latin, music from other traditions around the world, Classical, holiday themes, music from movies and more.
