Riverfront Redevelopment is an ongoing effort to reclaim former industrial land into a mixed-use commercial / residential neighborhood with significant environmental restoration and public recreation amenities.
On January 21, 2015, City Council approved the proposed changes to the 2005 development agreement for the project formerly known as the North Marina Planned Development Overlay (PDO) now called Waterfront Place Central.
City Council approved an amendment to the Snohomish County Campus master plan and development agreement to allow a building addition to the existing Snohomish County Courthouse. The project will involve the construction of a new approximately 30,000 square foot entry tower attached to the north side of the existing 1967 Snohomish County Courthouse, and renovation of approximately 54,000 square feet within the existing courthouse.
The Planning Department has issued the Planned Action Determination, and Building and Landscape Modifications on a proposal for a manufacturing, warehouse, office business park with 570,000 square feet of floor area contained in 4 buildings at 5900 36th Avenue West.
