Records Unit

Due to COVID-19 health concerns, the North Precinct and Records Unit are CLOSED to the public until further notice.


To report a crime or contact an officer:

  • 911 in an emergency
  • 425-407-399 for non-emergencies
  • Report online if there are no known suspects and items lost/stolen/damage valued under $5,000.

The Records Unit is staffed with specialists who perform a variety of services to include providing timely, reliable and accurate information in response to inquiries from officers, detectives and the public. The unit processes a wide variety of records, logs, court documents, public disclosure requests and other paperwork. Specialists use numerous state and nationwide databases to enter information on wanted persons, missing persons, stolen vehicles stolen property and other information.

The Records Unit handles traffic accident inquiries and provides fingerprinting services. With the exception of accident reports, which may be released to involved parties immediately, all reports must be requested through the Public Records Request process.
