Shorter-term maintenance projects that Public Works crews perform throughout the city on a daily basis are not included. Edgewater Bridge Replacement
The new replacement bridge structure will include two vehicle travel lanes, bike lanes and sidewalks on both sides.

Grand Avenue Utilities Replacement
This project will replace aging cast iron watermain having higher than normal break frequency between 19th Street and Hewitt Avenue, replace 100 year old & undersized sanitary sewer between 19th Street and Everett Avenue, install new storm drain pipe to remove stormwater from the sanitary sewer system between 19th Street & Everett Avenue and replace existing street with new curbs, gutters and asphalt pavement.

Grand Avenue Park Bridge
This will be a multi-purpose bridge that will provide an above-ground utility crossing and a pedestrian crossing between the park and the waterfront.

Jackson Park Area Stormwater Separation
The project is generally located south of Jackson Park with new collection pipes being installed in Summit Ave, 19th Street , Highland Avenue and East Marine View Drive (EMVD). Stormwater treatment units will be installed on a vacant City-owned site on the east side of EMVD. The construction work involves construction of approximately 2,200 linear feet of 12-inch to 24-inch diameter storm drainage pipe, water quality treatment units and restoration.

Maple Heights Bridge Seismic Retrofit
The seismic retrofit work will address current seismic vulnerabilities by improvements to the bridge girder abutment seats, and by adding steel jacketing to the concrete support columns.

Pacific Avenue to Interurban Trail Bicycle Safety
This project will complete the final link of the route, proposed in Everett's Biccle Master Plan, between Pacific Ave and 41st St. and will add a shared use facility for bicyclists and pedestrians to connect from Hoyt and 41st to the Interurban Trail on Colby and 44th St.

Rucker Renewal Project
The Rucker Renewal project includes roadway, sidewalk, illumination, traffic signal, pedestrian, streetscape and ADA improvements to Rucker Avenue from Pacific Avenue to Everett Avenue.

Summer Street Paving in Everett
Street resurfacing is scheduled at various locations in Everett beginning Monday, June 5, and continuing through July. Crews will grind down and remove old pavement, install new traffic detection wires, and repave and restripe the roadway.

Virginia Avenue Utilities Project
Virginia Avenue, between California Avenue and Everett Avenue will be closed to through traffic starting January 6 for approximately six weeks to replace an aging sewer main and water main in the road.
