Burn ban - no outdoor burning allowed

Effective immediately, Snohomish County is initiating an emergency burn ban, which also applies within the City of Everett boundaries. This includes all recreational fires and fire pits, but excludes gas and charcoal barbecue grills.

Additionally, US National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning (Fire Weather) in Northwest Washington for gusty winds and low humidity, as well as hot, dry, and unstable conditions for fire weather.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either imminent or occurring now. Any fires that develop will likely spread quickly.

Please avoid lighting any fire, using equipment that may spark and start a fire, and please, please do not throw your cigarettes out the window, dispose of them properly and safely.
