Everett Essentials is the City's 9-week civic academy course. This program is an opportunity for community members to learn how our City functions and how to become further involved in local government. Everett Essentials is designed to offer students a behind-the-scenes look at City services and programs.
The inaugural session starts September 2017. Eight classes will be held on Monday evenings from 6-9 p.m., with networking and refreshments from 5:30-6 p.m. There will be two longer Saturday morning classes with local travel. Lunch will be included for these sessions. Course tuition is $50, which includes light refreshments, all class materials. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.
