Edward
Edward went through a difficult divorce after serving in the Marine Corps and ended up becoming addicted to methamphetamines and later to opioids after a work-related injury. His story began in California and he continues with his challenges and successes here in Washington.

Sarah
Sarah works at Recovery Café in Everett. Harnessing the power of community, respect and compassion, she uses her experience with addiction and recovery to help others.

LindseyNancy
Lindsey and her mother Nancy share their journey from their own perspectives as they recount the past years of addiction and recovery. Lindsey speaks of her experiences as an addict and her recovery. Nancy unfolds a story of a mother’s struggles, heartbreak and concerns over her daughter’s spiral down the path of addiction.

James
James turned to drugs to help cope with the loss of a loved one. After isolating himself from his family and friends and trying several times to get clean, he found that education, community support and spirituality would help him down the road of recovery.
