Welcome

The City of Everett is committed to protecting the rights of community members of all backgrounds.

“We’ve heard from community members who have concerns about the safety of their family, friends and neighbors,” said Mayor Ray Stephanson. “Bullying, discrimination and harassment in community life in Everett are unacceptable, and when we’re aware of it, we need to speak out against it. When our community members are concerned about it, we’re concerned about it.”

“We have received inquiries about how the Everett Police Department handles immigration laws,” said Everett Police Chief Dan Templeman. “Our policy is intended to ensure that individuals who are victims of or witnesses to a crime feel safe speaking with police, regardless of their immigration status.”
