Cold Weather Shelters

If you or someone you know find themselves without shelter as the temperature falls, please know that there are resources available to you. Most locations are open November 1st through March 15th on any night when temperatures fall below 32 or 33 degrees for more than four hours. Call ahead if possible to verify that the shelter will be open.

Edmonds/Lynnwood** South Snohomish County Emergency Cold Weather Network-subgroup of the Neighbors in Need Program   Activated when overnight temperatures are anticipated to be 33 degrees or below. Open to families, women and men in need of overnight sheltering. Evening and morning meals are provided. When the shelter is activated, persons meet outside of the Lynnwood City Hall (19100 44th Ave W, Lynnwood) by 7 p.m. for transport to a local sheltering facility. An additional shuttle stop is located in the Trader Joe’s parking lot at Highway 99 and 196th Street SW at 7:05 p.m. 425-778-2159 ext. 8 (Trinity Lutheran Church)
Everett* The Salvation Army 8:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. open entry; after that need to be escorted by an officer. The shelter closes the following morning at 7:00 a.m. 2525 Rucker Ave, Everett 425-259-8129 ext. 235

Monroe** Sky Valley Cold Weather Alliance 8:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. Closes at 7:00 a.m. on Sun. Admission to the shelter will be open for 2 hours after opening and doors will lock at 10:00 p.m. New Hope Fellowship, 1016 West Main St, Monroe (in the house between the Church and Compass Health).
